This privacy policy applies to the Gomicale app (hereinafter referred to as "Application") for mobile devices, which was developed by Gomicale Team (hereinafter referred to as "Service Provider") as a free service. This service is provided "AS IS".

1. Information Collection and Use

The Application may collect the following information:

1.1 User Provided Information

  • Garbage collection schedule settings (garbage types, collection days, notification preferences)
  • App settings (theme preferences, language settings)

1.2 Automatically Collected Information

  • Device identifiers (Advertising ID, IDFA, GAID)
  • App usage data (screens accessed, time spent, feature usage frequency)
  • Device information (OS type and version, device model)
  • IP address

The Application does not collect precise information about the location of your mobile device.

2. Purpose of Data Collection

The collected information is used for the following purposes:

  • Providing app features (schedule management, notification delivery, separation dictionary display)
  • Improving the Application and developing new features
  • Delivering relevant advertisements to users
  • Preventing unauthorized access and ensuring security

3. Data Storage and Management

User-configured schedules and app settings are stored locally on the user's device using AsyncStorage. This information is retained on the device unless the user uninstalls the Application.

Users can export, import, or delete stored data from the app's settings screen.

4. Third-Party Services

The Application uses the following third-party services for advertising and usage analytics. These services may automatically collect user information.

4.1 Google Analytics 4 (GA4)

The Application uses Google Analytics 4 for the purpose of analyzing usage patterns and improving the app. GA4 uses cookies and advertising identifiers to track and analyze app usage. The collected information is transmitted to Google's servers and used for analytics purposes.

4.2 Google AdMob

The Application uses Google AdMob for the purpose of delivering advertisements. AdMob uses advertising identifiers (IDFA/GAID) and cookies to deliver relevant ads to users. Advertisers and their partners may use advertising identifiers to deliver interest-based advertisements.

Users can reset their advertising identifier or opt out of personalized ads through their device settings.

The Service Provider may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:

  • as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena or similar legal process;
  • when they believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect their rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;
  • with trusted service providers who work on their behalf, do not have an independent use of the information disclosed to them, and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this privacy statement.

The Application may collect device identifiers for the purpose of preventing unauthorized access and ensuring security. This information is used solely for user authentication and detection of unauthorized use, and is not used for any other purposes.

7. Opt-Out Rights

You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling it. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.

Additionally, you can reset your advertising identifier or opt out of personalized ads through your device settings.

8. Data Retention Policy

The Service Provider will retain User Provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter. If you'd like the Service Provider to delete User Provided Data that you have provided via the Application, please contact them at eerf0309+gomicale@gmail.com and they will respond within a reasonable time.

9. User Rights

Users have the following rights regarding their personal information:

  • The right to request disclosure of their personal information
  • The right to request correction of their personal information
  • The right to request deletion of their personal information

10. Children

The Service Provider does not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13.

The Application does not address anyone under the age of 13. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. In the case the Service Provider discovers that a child under 13 has provided personal information, the Service Provider will immediately delete this from their servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact the Service Provider at eerf0309+gomicale@gmail.com so that they will be able to take the necessary actions.

11. Security

The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. The Service Provider provides physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information the Service Provider processes and maintains.

12. Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes to the Privacy Policy by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.
